Claire Flowers is committed to making claireflowers.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time project.

What we have done

  • Added descriptive alternative text to our product photos so screen reader users know what each image shows.
  • Adjusted button and link colors so text meets WCAG AA color contrast requirements.
  • Use a store theme that supports keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, a "skip to content" link, labeled form fields, and a logical heading structure.
  • Allow pages to be zoomed and resized without loss of content.

Known limitations

Some features on our site are provided by third parties, including checkout (Shopify), buy-now-pay-later messaging, email sign-up forms and live chat. We do not control their code, but we choose providers who publish accessibility commitments and we report issues to them when we find them. Some older images and content may not yet meet every guideline; we review the site regularly and fix problems as we find them.
